WWPWFM  made a remarkable statement at the Wonca Africa regional  conference, with a successful pre conference and women's tack.
WWW (Wonderful Wonca Women) participation at all of the four  women's track was great, and  men's attendance was also impressive.
The pre-conference  workshop was well attended and WWPWFM executive (Drs Atai Omoruto and Kate Anteyi)  got contacts of interested women doctors for the sub region and  neighboring countries.
The woman plenary speaker ( Dr Modupe Ladipo) was fantastic as she reviewed African family values and their relation to Family Medicine.
There was a conference theme workshop on Women and Family Medicine which was facilitated by WWPWFM
WWPWFM proposed a life care model for the woman Family Physician in the African context. There was a parallel workshop on leadership and mentorship.
